Hi, I'm Eric, the founder of From The Wheelchair. When I lost both of my lower legs (below knees) due to a major health struggle, I felt like my world had been turned upside down. I was overwhelmed by feelings of despair and hopelessness. But through my faith in God, I was able to find hope and healing.

My journey of losing both of my legs was not easy. I faced many physical and emotional challenges. I had to learn how to walk again with prosthetic legs, and I struggled with feelings of self-pity and depression. But through it all, my Christian beliefs were my rock and my source of strength.

I found that by turning to God and seeking guidance through prayer and reading the Bible, I was able to find peace and hope. I realized that my struggles were not unique and that God had a plan for my life. I learned to trust in His plan and to find joy in the journey, even when things were difficult.

I also found that sharing my story with others was therapeutic. By opening up about my struggles, I was able to connect with others who were going through similar experiences. And I was able to offer encouragement and hope to those who were struggling.

I am not a licensed mental health provider, but I did receive a Graduate Certificate in Pastoral Counseling, so if you feel you need professional help, please call 988. However, I would like to share my experience with you, if you are going through a similar experience, and you are looking for a spiritual channel to help you navigate through the journey. My focus is on the spiritual person, and I believe that faith can play a vital role in the healing process.
